Pristine Camaro! Boasts a superbly functioning and potent 383 stroker engine paired with a 4-speed transmission. Runs and handles exceptionally well, accompanied by detailed receipts for recent maintenance. Only driven 2000 miles since the rebuild. Here's a message from the owner: "Dear potential Z/28 enthusiast: Like many others, I developed a passion for the 1969 Z/28 during my high school days in the 70s. While I drove a 1967 Firebird, my closest friend owned a remarkable fathom green 1969 Z/28, which was an absolute beast on the road. Though my loyalty lay with my Firebird, I couldn't help but admire my friend's car. In 2004, my dream came true when I stumbled upon a well-maintained Z/28 on eBay, not far from my home. After securing it for just over $16,000, I had the brakes bled and the oil changed at the shop where it was stored, preparing for the 80-mile drive home from San Jose to San Rafael, California. By fall of the same year, I was eager to make the car show-worthy. While the original block was beyond repair, many components, including the double-hump heads and Winters aluminum high-rise intake manifold, were salvageable. We opted for a 383 stroker engine, hand-built by Kurt, to provide ample torque and driving excitement. Though the car's originality as a Z28 remains uncertain, several features and components indicative of a 1969 Z/28 are present. While I haven't conducted an exhaustive audit of every part number, I can attest to the enjoyment I've derived from this car over the past 14 years. With just 2,000 miles since its rebuild, it remains a quick and thrilling ride, earning accolades at local car shows. As a representation of one of the greatest muscle cars ever built, the 1969 Camaro Z/28, I take immense pride in showcasing this beauty."
