The car boasts a white exterior paired with a black vinyl interior. "I acquired it in 2018, becoming the fourth owner. Originating from Fremont, it was initially sold by Fitzpatrick Chevrolet in Concord on June 7, 1968. Throughout its life, it has remained within the Bay Area, residing in Concord, Novato, Petaluma. In 2019, I replaced the original 307 engine with a fully rebuilt 350 sourced from a 1970 Camaro (Star Machine in Emeryville performed the build). The engine was bored .30 over and equipped with new pistons, rods, a Comp Cam camshaft, and hydraulic lifters. Additionally, it features a new Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Headman Headers, distributor, power-steering pump, and hoses. The 3-speed TH 350 transmission has also been rebuilt. Various interior components have been replaced, including the dash assembly, knobs, bezels, lenses, switches, and turn signal switch, as well as the installation of a new wood steering wheel. New BFG Radial T/As have been fitted, along with a custom-made Tonneau cover, bed mat, and car cover. The Malibu badging, both inside and out, has been renewed, complete with the proper eyebrow, rocker, and tailgate paint and trim."
