Immaculate local vehicle! The original red factory paint appears mostly untouched. Inside, the black interior has been refreshed and upgraded with tweed inserts courtesy of Concord Auto Upholstery. A top-notch stereo system has been installed, with the head unit discreetly mounted in the glove box. The original AM radio still functions seamlessly, complemented by additional auxiliary gauges. All glass is in excellent condition and operates smoothly. Recently, a new power top in Hartz cloth has been fitted, operating flawlessly. While the original slant 6 engine and transmission have been replaced, the car now features a robust 360 roller motor and a 727 automatic transmission with a mild shift kit. The engine, built by Main Machine, and the transmission, assembled by Macy Transmissions, have approximately 6,000 miles on them. Equipped with J heads, high-performance manifolds, a factory 4bbl intake with a Holley carb, MSD ignition, and an aluminum radiator, the engine is a powerhouse. A 2" Flowmaster exhaust system ensures a thrilling sound, while 15x7 chrome ralley wheels from Wheel Vintiques add a touch of elegance. Moreover, all four wheels have been converted to right-hand thread lugnuts. This convertible runs, sounds, and drives superbly, with an odometer reading of 69k miles believed to be accurate. It's a fantastic example of a classic a-body Mopar! The rear features an 8 3/4 sure grip with 3:55 gears, while manual disc brakes and power steering contribute to its impressive performance. Additionally, the suspension underwent a complete overhaul approximately 6,000 miles ago.
