This 1972 Z28, beautifully restored, features the rare code 57 Golden Brown exterior and code 780 White standard interior. Following a comprehensive rotisserie restoration in early 2010, it has only clocked approximately 3,000 miles. Originally a well-maintained vehicle, rust was minimal. Equipped with its original matching number engine, heads, intake, carburetor, transmission, and rear end, it runs and drives exceptionally well. Only 767 M22 4-speed transmission Camaros were produced in 1972, with this one boasting a factory 3:73 Posi rear. The rebuilt 350 255hp engine now displaces 355ci, delivering more power than stock. The only non-stock addition is headers, contributing to its impressive sound and idle. The undercarriage underwent a full restoration, featuring the correct red oxide color and factory paint marks. Notably, rear springs were re-arched, and Eibach front springs were installed during the restoration to lower the car and avoid a raised appearance. This Z28 is exceptionally rare, given the 1972 production halt due to a union strike, resulting in only 2,575 Z28s manufactured.
